Venture Pacific is led by two people with two distinct bodies of experience, and the firm gives equal weight to both.

Mark Van Ek, Founder and President, brings more than 40 years of construction across residential, commercial, and public facilities. He runs the build side: custom homes, major renovations, heritage restorations, house lifts and moves, and high-performance construction under the BC Energy Step Code. That work is a HAVAN Award winner and a repeat Georgie Award finalist, and the company holds CHBA BC Certified Renovation Company status.

Trent Praski, Acquisitions and Development, leads the development side. He sources missing-middle sites across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, tests each lot against zoning, cost, and return before a design is drawn, and structures the GP/LP partnerships that let homeowners develop their own land and let investors take part in multiplex projects. He holds an MBA and works as a licensed real estate professional with Macdonald Realty.
